I'm glad that I'm not the only one that likes the cold tile during an attack. About the Lidocaine, I have topical Xylocaine Ointment that we used in the dental office when I was a Chairside Dental Assistant. Is that the same thing. If it will work, I'll get my old dentist to give me a new jar.
