When I was first diagnosed, I was told that the ratio was 10 to 1. Also, and this is weird, the neurologist told me that there are certain physical characteristics that are a common thread in cluster sufferers. He said that it is common for the MAN to be short, stocky and to have a "lionesque" face. In other words, a large forehead, wide bridge of the nose, and large mouth. Attractive, huh? Not only am I female, but this description, thank God, does not describe me in the least! Ever get the feeling that these guys are just making this stuff up as they go along?
