I am truly sorry you are faced with this dilemna. Bernadette. I will pray for you. If you attend Church, Talk to your Minister, Pastor... and have the congregation or prayer circle keep you in mind in there prayers. If you are not active in Church, call upon friends, relatives, employees.
I believe collective prayer make a difference. Sorry if I sound preachy but my beliefs are strong on this. Not knowing tears us up but the truth is easier ( for me ). Gary once informed us of a powerful prayer; the Serenety Prayer

and the wisdom to know the difference.
When I am extremely scared, I find a bit of comfort as I absorb the message it carries. I try to turn my powerlessness to the man upstairs, it still hurts and the answer may be the one we may fear the most, but faith and acceptance, comfort and reasonable happiness are the REAL results of the power of faith. It takes courage and action. Another wise man once said that "deep down inside of all people is a fundamental belief in "God". But you have to search for it. Develope faith and reliance upon God. This takes action and prayer is a Large part of a good life
Helping others or service work in my community releases me from the bondage of my difficulties. I hope and pray the out come to be positive.
These words I speak is just my way though I fall down a lot. But I must get back up
