A post of a few days ago (8/3) by Michelle requested some info on Imitrex Spray and Amerge. I tried Amerge as a daily preventative with no luck. Started out at one pill a day, then went up to 2 pills a day. Nothing. Resorted to my old stand by, lithium, which, like all super-heros, saved the day. Not a problem after that. Someone said that Amerge is like a "slow acting" Imitrex. That's how my pharmacist described it. Although Imitrex itself worked great for me, the Amerge was useless.
