I've just been diagnosed with cluster headaches. I'm not real happy about that, but I'm happy about finding this site. My neurologist prescribed Aventyl (nortryptiline), a tricyclic antidepressant, for preventive treatment. It doesn't seem to be helping much...so I'm reduced to ibuprofen for pain relief. Anybody know anything about Aventyl? Also, I've had these headaches for about 2 months so far, any idea when they might end? Thanks
