Went to the neuro yesterday. He gave me a sample of Depakote to try, and said if the insomnia persists(? has since age 10) call in 4 weeks and he'll prescribe something for sleep. Once again have nothing to deal with pain. Last six days worst of this cycle/my life - but I'll try not to whine (only had four hrs sleep all week, constant angry shadows, several level 12 H/A's 4 thru the night - no sleep again - in some form of constant pain 24/7) as people think I whine too much and think I'm worse than the next guy. Not comparing myself to anyone else's situation - everyone is different. I know that my head hurts and is killing me, never thought a normal H/A could bug me. Couple it with intense shadows and an occasional 2 hr level 12 CH, It's enough to drive one mad. I must be evil - as they say "no rest for the wicked..." The Whiner - Carl D
