I'm very excited to have found this site, and I'm trying to convince my mother to post to the message board or sit in on one of your chat sessions. I think she is afraid to come over here to my apartment and have one of her headaches around my kids. She pretty much hides away at home when she isn't at work... I wish she would take some time off of work so she could get a better handle on her headaches. I've been collecting some good info for her to take to her GP, though.
Do all CH sufferers insist on hiding the fact that they have these headaches? Sounds crazy, I know, because there is no hiding the fact when they hit, but my mom is a pro at trying to go on managing a decent-sized company and taking care of her home and everybody elses problems, too, despite these terrifying episodes. She doesn't take time to do for herself, and I think that's why these headaches almost beat her the other day. How do you tell a person you love to take care of themselves for a change?
