I had asked my doctor if I could use some expired Imitrex injections and his response was not an immediate "No," it was, "How expired is it?" I told him years and he gave me a sample of some other medications to use instead.
This is up for your interpretation because, since I'm not a pharmacist/doctor, I wouldn't advise people to take expired meds. Call your doctor's nurse and see if she will give you some advice about using expired medicine.
