I have suffered for 6 years with CH and for the last 15 months have been taking prednisolone for prevention.
I have found this most successful until now. I have reduced my intake to 5mg.from 60mg. All has been well for about the last two months,with just mild attacks.
The last 2 weeks has been hell again. I seem to have tried every medication going for pain relief except for oxygen. I asked for this the first time they diagnosed me and I had found information on these types of headache at the library. Why won't the GP's in England let us English sufferers try oxygen.Studies prove it is the best treatment and it is not a drug.
I am very concerned that I shall be taking these steroids for the rest of my life. Feedback and suggestions please.
