From reading the posts and my personal experience, there are bad neurologists and bad GP's. There are good ones too. I am blessed with both a neurologist and an internal medicine doc who 1) listen to me, and 2) are up to date on CH.
I suggest you print out the "Medical Info" and maybe even the survey from this board, and take them to your family physician. If he or she seems knowledgeable and interested, that may be all you need. If not, request a referral to a neuro with CH experience.
Don't listen to just me, though -- we all have different experiences. Check out the rest of the posts and see what fits you best.
