David, I don't know if this will help, but after umpteen refills of 6 tablet prescrips of Imitrix, I called my doctor. She was able to increase it to 9, then 18 tablets. I pay the same co-pay for 18 as I did for 6. Helped a LOT, and can be applied to any drug, I think. The pharmacy should be able to put as many tablets in a prescrip as the doc says to put in. Worth a try, anyway. Good docs should be flexible (and not have blinking blue lights above their heads...). =)
