I need an actual answer to a real question that about, believe it or not, cluster headaches.
As I think I'm becoming chronic, I went to my neurologist on Tuesday, wondering what my next line of defense would, or could be.
Thus far, I've only taken prednisone tapers and I'm currently taking verapamil; I assumed Imitrex would be next, but the doctor said I was TOO OLD for Imitrex. I'm 62.
Has anyone "of a certain age" also been told this, and if so, what would you think my next medication would likely be? We didn't go into it -- didn't want to be premature etc., but I would appreciate hearing from others on this subject.
