Dexamethasone

I am apparently on the back side of my 5th episode in 10 years. Prior to this one, nothing worked as a preventative. This time, 1+ week of hell in, my neurologist put me on 8mg of dexamethasone: 4mg at night and 4mg in the AM. The headaches stopped immediately. I haven't had one now in a week and a half. The side effects are a pain, for sure, but, as you know, anything beats the headaches.

Anyone else had this kind of result?
