hormone post misunderstanding?

I apologize if I did not make my meaning clear in my earlier post. I,in no way, meant that a hormonal imbalance could be a CAUSATIVE factor. I meant that clusters could be RELATED to a hormonal imbalance and I do believe I stated clearly that I meant all of us cluster suffers--not a specified gender, I just happen to be female. I do believe that further study will show a link between the increased cells in the hypothalamus and hormonal imbalances. The males who have clusters could theoretically have the same type of imbalance that causes PCOS in females, but who is going to take notice of a hairy,overweight, diabetic male with heart disease. I don't mean this to be inflammatory, I just wanted to make sure that my point was clearly made. Also, I did search the archives and read over the med info before posting just in case any of those "newbiebeware"posts were directed my way. I suppose we should ALL be more tolerant of newcomers and remember that most of them are suffering the same as we are.
