MSG? You can bet your very last dose of meds that it is a definite trigger for me. Most resturantes use it to some degree because it is a flavor enhancer (makes bad food taste good). The sad part is it is almost impossible to avoid because it is in so many foods. Many snack foods use it and I've triggered on just one small bag of Doritos. What a bitch, eh? A good web site for info that was posted earlier on the board is www.truthinlabeling.org and I strongly suggest you check it out. You can also use any of the many search engines on the web to search on "monosodium glutimate". I did this a couple of years ago when in a bad episode and found that parmesan cheese had one of the highest levels of naturally occurring MSG. We quit the parmesan and the cycle ended. Feel free to email if you want to go into the MSG crap in more depth.
