Kinda like when I started taking the pill, antibuse so I wouldn't drink. Unless, there was a good party coming up on the weekend. Then I'd quit taking the pill on Wednesday so I could drink on Saturday. If ya asked me then I'd have told you flat out that I wasn't an alcoholic.
I don't put down people that drink. That's fine for them. I can't drink, I have have to have a drunk. When drinking starts causing pain, damaging health or relationships, it's time to take a good hard look at yourself. I think it's gone beyond "social drinking" at that point. The alcohol is starting to do the controlling.
