Hi Carl,
I understand how frustrating a doctor’s appointment can sometimes be. Neuronitin and Topamax are both anti-seizure medications. I have tried both. When I was on the Neurontin, I too started out at a low dose of 300mg/day. By the time the Neurontin lost it’s affect I was at a maximum dose of 3600mg/day. I was also taking it with 720mg/day of Calan SR (Verapamil).

A bit of good news though, (and I really hope it works for you), is that it reduced the frequency of my Cluster attacks for 6 months. Elaine is having the same good luck with Neurontin and Calan SR so far. Another bit of good news is that one of the nifty side effects of Neurontin is that it can be an anti-depressant. I really hope this medication works for you. Good Luck!
