I've never been a hugger, never realy felt comfortable with it until late last July in Rochester. First Dave and Elaine at the airport, MAJOR hugs, then Todd at the hotel and then the "sneak attack" on Mom as she was checking in at the hotel. I just came up behind this lady that I had never met, put my hands on her shoulders and wispered "Hi Mom". Her response was "KIP". More hugs, some wet eyes. It's like I've known this lady all my life. Later, Cathy and hub joined us for a day, same feeling. Wonderful experience. And thank you so very much, dear lady, for standing by us through Judy's crisis. But isn't that what we are, a support group of friends? Even friends we have yet to meet.
