I'm in the middle of researching the Gamma Knife. Saw "the Neuro" in Chicago that has done them (2) and am heading to Houston this week to discuss it with Dr. Matthew and his Neuro that have supposedly done the most GK's for clusters.
Also going to Pittsburgh to discuss Micrvascular Decompression with Dr. Jannetta who pioneered this procedure for Clusters.
20 years of clusters have beaten me down to the point that "something" has to be done.

BTW, if I'm reading this thread correctly, they do not "cut" any nerves. This is a Radiation therapy on the trigeminal nerve.
Estimated cost in Chicago...25-35 Grand
6-8 hour procedure clamped down in an MRI unit.
