How often do you all take it?
Before this June my cluster cycles consisted of having 1 maybe 2 clusters a day sometimes even skipping a day. Then I got a 5 week cluster attack in June that just started up again. I got 5 to 12 a day. Lasting half an hour to two hours each. I couln't take the pain so for the first time (literally) I took stadol for the clusters at home. Before this I hardly, and I mean hardly ever took any pain meds. The only time I ever took stadol for a cluster was when I was flying. It's the only thing that got me through the landing.
But now I take it so often. I can't handle the pain of the clusters so often. But I hate the stadol, it makes me feel sick and irritable. I'm curious how often other people take it and if you don't take it what do you do?
I used to just suffer through it, but it so hard to do that through 4 or 5 or 6 or more. In the hospital I've met people who have gone through a bottle a week!!! Is this normal? What's the average? I do use Oxygen too but that doesn't always help?
