Just thought you might be interested...
A couple of days ago a colleague of mine finally took the
leap into the twentieth century, and got connected to
the net. As one does, I sent him an e-mail or two, on one
of which I gave him the ch.com address in case he was
looking for somewhere to visit.
I saw him the next day, and he had popped in. His remarks were
very encouraging, full of things like "I didn't realise.."
and "so it's not like migraines...". He also said how moved
he'd been by all the stories of pain, medication problems
and all the other **** we have to put up with.
What we say here does have a wider impact; perhaps we can all
encourage those who are puzzled by ch to call in - and bear in
mind the visitors when we have one of our periodic bouts
of angst! If we can stay positive amidst the storm we are
much more impressive advocates od our own cause.
