I guess it could have been a reaction to MSG, rhough I have never had any problem in that area before (Chinese/Japanese food is one of my major weaknesses).
I know I have a reaction to alcohol, unless I am very careful. On Sunday night, at an Italian restaurant (another weakness), I had about half a glass of red wine, but didn't have any problems. As long as I limit myself to only a small amount of alcohol, I seem to be okay.
The big difference here was having all the symptoms, except for pain. If that were to continue, I could live with this. I think it may have been the Verapamil that is blocking the symptoms.
