While Claudette was here, I had my first opportunity to be a "supporter", rather than a sufferer. NOW, I understand the emotional pain that they go through. I believe that to have to stand by and watch someone go through this, without being able to help, may be even harder than going through it yourself. All I wanted to do was take on Claudette's pain for a little while to give her some relief, and knowing that I couldn't, made me angry and depressed. I have a much greater understanding and appreciation for the supporters I've had through the years than I have ever had before. God bless you all.
