I am surprised, but not releaved, to see others in search of help for their cluster headaches. Thank God that my husband still puts up with me...but you all know what that means during the cluster....late night trips to the emergency rooms! I have been battling this @#%* thing for about 15 years and they are getting worse each time, if that's possible. Are there any other women out there with them? Of all the neurologists that I've seen over the years, they say that women with cluster headaches are rare and there isn't much research at all done with us ?!?!?!? After trying every migraine medicine and every possible pain killer, this lastest neurologists suggested to try Imitrex, which hasn't been used much for cluster headaches but I am in the middle of a cluster now and it has helped keep me from the ER so far >>> Anyone want to offer other suggestions... I did try dihydroergotimine in a nasal spray last cluster and it did help a little in the relief..... I WANT SOME PREVENTION!!!! Kathy in Colorado
