I did read that they find in people with lowered serotonin levels (remember serotonin constricts the smooth muscle of the blood vessels, lowered levels allows them to dialate (CH)) they also find lowered level of estrogen & testosterone. I'm wondering if all of these point back to the hypothalamus (Dr. Goadsby's research). There are other hypo.. studies from a year or two ago that also show activation of the hypo.. during a cluster. So does the hypo.. possibly being messed up affect the central nervous system and result in low serotonin and also mess with the pituitary and lower sex hormones? I'm still trying to get it straight in my head, which things are causes and which are results.
