Nothing at all wrong with what you said, but please use your normal name so we know who we're responding to!! My amateur diagnosis of CH for myself was right on target years ago, after at least three professional MD's missed the mark by calling it "sinus" and "migraine". It was only when I took some good info to the doc to discuss it that one of them actually got the books out and looked it up, then decided to agree with me.
I agree that amateur diagnosis can be dangerous if the amateur in question also attempts to treat the condition without consulting an MD. When you go to consult, though, carry some research with you so you don't get mis-handled during the 5 minutes you're allowed to talk to the doc!
