In past and present Headache books, Ther is some valid info that a person may experience ONE CH in there life or just one episode and never reappear.
However, there has been debate over this occurance
i.e. sinus/allergy, tmj, CHP. My sister was diagnosed with TMJ because of the facial pain and was treated with tegretol. After seeing a my neuro, she was accurately diag nosed with CH. The tegretol zoned her out. She is on Verapamil SR and doing fine. The neuro said it was sympathetic pain in the facial area caused by CHs
Best wishes to all.
