whew! I hope I've finally found a place where I can get some answers! :)
I was talking with a friendonline last night and he experienced a sudden sharp pain in his left temple near his eye. A few seconds later he said it felt like the pain had been "linked" to another spot just in back of the first.
The intense pain lasted about 5 minutes and then began to fade. He said he experienced "echoes" of the pain for about 10 minutes, then it started to fade a bit. At that point he went off line to go lay down. I'm trying to help him figure out what's going on.
After searching various sites it SOUNDS like a cluster headache, but never having had one it's difficult for me. I really want to help him figure out what's going on, and he's also a "doctor phobe" so if I can provide him with more information then he may actually go see a doctor!
If anyone can help shed light on this I would truly appreciate it..thanks in advance! Joann
