For what it's worth, my doc put me on a graduated course of prednisone -- 60 mg/day for 5 days, 50 mg for 3 days, 40 mg for 3 days, etc, lasting three weeks and ending with 10 mg per day for three days. My Kip-10 daily attacks were reduced on the third day of the prednisone course and kept dropping in intensity; I now have only shadows at various times of day.
