I hope that the tea helps. Take it at the onset. It doesn't sound very motherly of your mother. Has she ever witnessed you during a severe attack? If so, maybe you can fire her and hire a new mother. :-) Especially if she yells at you while you have them (I guess that answers the question of whether she's witnessed you with them).
