I was just reflecting on the contentious nature of the board over the past few weeks and the thought occurred to me that, here in the northern hemisphere at least ,the days have been getting markedly shorter over that same approximate time frame. Although I know some people feel that SAD and light deprivation have an influence on CH (see the links page), I've never felt that this is a factor for me.
On the other hand, I DO hate waking up at 6 am to darkness. I also hate having it turn dark by 6 pm. Are some of us getting gruochy because of this change?
I've done no research on this as the idea just occurred to me. I have, however, reflected on some of the people who have stayed above the fray. We all know Bobp moves constantly. He's on some island off Australia right now as I understand it. hub has stayed cool, but his computer is under one of those crystal pyramids that harnesses and directs the cosmic energy forces right into his head. margi's always polite, but she leaves right at the arctic circle I believe, so she's used to being in the dark all the time.
I don't know, there may be more to this light deprivation thing than I've considered previously.
KTSSU,
T
