Hafta light the kerosene lantern just to get to the outdoor biffy.....freakin' cold in the middle of the night (which is about 4:00 pm). So cold and dark, the dogs have gone on strike and don't even want to get hitched up to the sled.
During our 20 minutes of sunlight, we try to pack in all our supplies from the bush planes. Of course it's not easy to run with snowshoes on. And there's also the snow snakes and iceworms to worry about when dusk hits yet again.
Grouchy? Can't imagine why, dear.
