1. I think I've read here that people have taken
Imitrex with Prednisone. I've only used the 5 mg
Imitrex nasal spray with the Predisone. Ask
others on this board about this.
2. I don't take any other preventives. For
abortives, as mentioned, I take Imitrex spray,
and oxygen (7 liter flow for 15 min). If you've
never tried oxygen, try it!
3. You don't need to wait any amount of time
between tapers. In fact, sometimes if I'm having a
problem at the lowest dosage I immediate start the
second taper. There's room for some variations, as
long as you don't have serious side effects. Also,
remember to take the Prednisone with or after food.
