When Carl first experienced his trouble, you told me you were going to use the "tough love" technique on him, which to me meant that you were going to try to encourage him to stand up for himself with his doctors and get the help he needed. At the time I agreed with you as he seemed at the end of his rope and we didn't know how else to help him. Over the last few months I've seen the desperation Carl goes through and yet he still hangs in there and keeps coming back to see us. Carl deals with his frustration as well as he can. What's wrong with that, Linda? I don't think there is one among us who hasn't posted something to the board that they have regretted later, you and me both included.
I've been noticing your responses to him here over the last couple of days and it really seems to me that you're taking this too far. Tough love does not include being rude and name calling. Now you're getting just plain mean and that's NOT what DJ intended for this website and you know it.
I'm sorry if this upsets you, Linda, but I really am surprised at how mean you can be. This hurts everyone and helps no one.
