Four years ago I started out with Prednisone and hated the side effects and no help with the CH's. Neuro then put me on Varapamil(ms)no help. Then he had me on Depecote which helped the next year, but has had no effect on the beast this year. I'm in my 15th week with hardly any let up. The past couple of weeks the neuro had me on Sansert and that has seem to help with the frequency and severity, but I still get one or two a day ranging 5-8. So what I've found is not only does different meds work with different people but they also do not always work with different cycles. I don't know, just guessing. But I wish you luck. Better days ahead.
