Wanted to see if anyone has the same symtoms as myself.

I have been suffering with severe headaches since I was
about 15. The problem I have is that no matter how much
research I do on migrains or clusters I find nothing that
reflects my symtoms. When I get my headaches the pain is
excruciating to the point where I cannot move my head,
however, it is always in the back of my entire head but
does not go down into the neck. It lasts for hours and
sometimes days. Everything I have read and everyone I
have talked to has indicated that the pain for a migrain
or cluster is on one or both "sides" of the end. I have
found nothing that refers to the back of the head. When I
was younger the headaches came much more frequently then
they do now that I am in my 30ies, however, when I do get
them the pain has not lessened, it basically feels like
my brains is going to explode out of my skull. I am also
sensitive to light during these headaches.
Just hoping someone else might have an idea on what these
are. I have talked to my doctor about them a few years
ago and I don't think he took me seriously because of the
location of the headache.
I thought maybe if I could go to him with some type of suggestion on what it might be that I may actually be able to get some real treatment.
