Hello
I am an episodic CH sufferer and I seem to be finishing what has been my worst cycle ever. In the past cycles have lasted up tp three weeks but with only maybe 2 attacks each day. This time I've been getting 8 - 9 most days. I was prescribed Zomig as an abortive and was advised that I could take up to 6 x 25mg in a 24 hour period. I have done that for a little over three weeks.
In addition my doc prescribed 240mg of Verapamil per day for over 2 weeks as a preventative.
Today is the first clear day without an attack but I'm left with another problem! Serious constipation - this is the fourth day without passing anything more than a dribble. This is after 2 enemas administered today. I am beginning to feel quite ill and wondered if anyone could confirm whether or not they had had similar symptoms using the same meds. I'd sure appreciate your comments to take to my doc in the morning.
