Hi Tony,
I don't know that much about Migraines. I don't have Migraines. I DO have Cluster Headaches though. A Chiropractor did NOT help my Cluster Headaches at all. Verapamil, Depakote, Neurontin, Lithium, Topamax and Calan SR have been some of the preventative medications that have helped reduce the frequency of my Cluster Headaches.

I have used Cafergot and Ercaf to abort my Cluster Headaches. Cafergot and Ercaf are Ergotomines. I have also used Imitrex to abort my Cluster Headaches. Imitrex is a Triptan. One should NEVER mix an Ergotomine and a Triptan in the same 24 hour period to abort a Cluster Headache. Please check with your doctor about using your Cafergot and your Imitrex. I have also used Oxygen to abort my Cluster Headaches. In my humble opinion, I have NEVER EVER suffered a "rebound" headache in all of the 15 years that I have had chronic Cluster Headaches. My Neurologist shares this same opinion. I also used to bang my head into a wall. I don't do that anymore. I also don't drink alcohol or smoke. I wish you great success!
