Have been on 240MG Verapamil for 2 years. It is keeping the palpitations down to a few an hour but it is also causing edema in legs and feet. I am also on benazepril 20MG for hypertension. My doctor says it is the verapamil causing the edema, I have my doubts and have tried to get him to switch the benazepril to another med. Has anyone else experienced this problem. I had total knee replacement 10 weeks ago and the edema is definately going against recovery for the knee. ???
