IF you are saying that you've developed a sharp localized pain that CONTINUES for many hours, which is how I read your post, it very likely isn't cluster headache-

also - usually the first attacks of CH are relatively mild - if you have a brand new pain that is persistently excruciating at the very beginning, that is another cause to suspect CH diagnosis

read the descriptions of CH in the medical info, and cluster quiz, accessed with the buttons at left of screen

please keep after the question until YOU are sure what the problem is

IF it IS Cluster Headache - this is the place to get just about all the info available FIRST thru reading the links at left, then thru questions here on the board

IF it ISN'T cluster headache - this isn't the best place for you - not because we're mean, but because this is a specialty site for CH, and most of us only, really, know about CH
