In UK Imitrex marketed as Imigran - I used to have them. However, as you may know we have a nationeal Health Service (ha, ha) over here, which means that docs prescribe drugs and we pay £5.90 for each item on the prescription - great you may say, BUT, although we get charged £5.90 for two injections, the doc gets charged the full amount (approx £20 per injection, I think) My last doc told me he wouldn't prescribe any more Imigran as I was having too many (two per day) and Imigran CAUSES C/H if taken too often. I have since learned that this is a load of bullsh*t and the doc was only thinking of his pocket! The doc at the PET scan has recommended the injections, so I think my new doc will prescibe them again. Has anyone had the nasal spray, if so, any good??????
