I hope your doc is working with you to try and find a med which reduces the frequency of attacks. Take a look at: www.headachedrugs.com, under "Headache medications:2000".
As much pain medication as you appear to be using, the issue of rebound headaches is very real. Might scan archives for a message, "rebound headaches". There is a long medical journal article cited there which you should be able to obtain through your school library rather easily.
