Dr. Goadsby works at the Institute of Neurology in London, not for Glaxo Wellcome. The study in which he identified an abnormality in the gray matter of our brains was funded by the Wellcome Foundation. This foundation was created by the Wellcome family, who also founded the pharaceutical firm which later merged with Glaxo to become the company we know today. To the best of my ability to determine, it is a bona fide charitable organization dedicated to advancing medical research.
