Hi, Sean-
I've been chronic for 10 years. I understand too. For several years I kept a journal. I had charts and graphs that showed the rise and fall of frequency by month and year, and diaries of everything I ate and drank. I had journals of every medication I took. I threw them all away about five years ago in a fit of frustration. I now have a heart valve regurgitation and an enlarged atrium from too much sansert for too long. My ears ring constantly from an overdose of ergot in the Arizona heat two years ago. I have had to learn a completely different way to support myself because of CH. I live a different standard of living because of the expense. But you know what? I am learning to enjoy life even more than before. Yes, the pain is as bad as it gets. Yes, it can make you think of ending it all. Sean, stick around here for a while. It can also bring you into contact with a lot of really wonderful people who understand and care. We can work together to help each other. That can be worth sticking around for.
