Your doctor sounds very good - proactive and responsive.
Does this message board keep a list of doctors that people have found to be good? (looked, couldn't find) Or is there an ethical problem with that? I haven't thought this through, but it seems like a 'referral' list by area might be helpful, at least for those that are allowed to select their own doctor.
Just a thought, and good luck Jan. I and many others know exactly what you mean about the fear of the upcoming pain. The beast knocking at the door isn't a stranger, and that's scary. But you have handled it before and you have us for support. Don't be afraid to ask for it.
