Man, thanx for organizing and writing what I have wanted to say for a couple of days now. I had to laugh 'bout the frozen veggies. I thought I was the only one. Never tried the massager, mine has a buzz to it-annoys me. Hot shower is scary for me to try. I always get a HA after one, even if one just broke moments ago.
As to my med backround,I got tired (and poor) going from neuro to chiro to osteo to medical drs. Each new treatment would work for a short time, then... I read up on meditation and similar subjects. I am convinced that we can control these bastards. However this too can be temporary. I must admit, I had a pretty rough time last night and did take a morphine pill given to me by a friend for 'just in case'. I was afraid of being a hypocrite. I don't believe you will think this way, so I won't get down on myself.
As I mentioned, we are poor folk with no med ins as of yet. I am not married and his ins won't cover. Once I get my employer to come to this site, and start back in the Spring, I think these will go better with the understanding. My lay-off this year came at the same time as my attacks. Got 'lucky' I guess.
I would like to try the oxygen and/or Imitrex once affordable. I am 'giving in' to an extent. A person can only take so much. I will stay strong and use my med=free tech.'s as long as I have the support I need.
I am in my third week now and the sleep depravation is setting in. Knowing you all exist(wasnt sure for years)helps more than I got time to explain.Through my attacks I have been mentally noting my procedures to share with everyone.Thanx Gary for doing this for me.
