Our family doctor told us that an old time remedy to CH is to take antihistamian (sp?) so now that my husband has a cold as well, he has been taking depakote and advil cold and sinus, and has been painfree, perhaps its coinidence or the fact that his sinus's are filled or it could be that that old time remedy still holds to true for short periods of time. Also, his boss said his father in law had these monsters and had surgery and has been painfree since. He is checking with him to see what type of surgery he had and we will take that info to the neuro. And one last thing, my sister in law said her brother also suffered from these and he went to a headache clinic in either cleveland or cinncinatti ohio and they ran some tests and was able to elimate them entirely for the past 10 years! I am also having her find out where this was so we can check into this, either city is about 1 1/2 hrs aways!! Wishing you all a pain free new year!!
