Oh gawd , What i would do to find the accountant who made the decision that i only needed 6 sprays per month. Well i didnt stand for it, In general i have good insurance. I have Health care preferred ( an HMO , i assume) I had to call and talk to about 7 people and ended up talking to the Insurance companies Lab technician and explained to him what condition i had and why 6 sprays wouldnt last me a week , much less a month. Soooo , after much pushing and pulling a managed to get them to prescribe me 6 at a time. My doctor was trying to prescribe me 30 for every prescription. Thats $12 a pop.I was only having to pay $15 per prescription. I figured the accountant musta got BUGEYED over that. But it pissed me off. Who the hell is an accountant to make decisions on what drug i take? Even my doctor was incredulous and he is in the insurance ring so to speak. Yes , I got my drugs. No i didnt get them at the amount my doctor prescribed. So now i just go to the pharmacy and get my 6 when i feel like it.
Thanks , Just wanted to get that off my chest.
