I was recently diagnosed with cluster headaches and after years of experiencing them at least I finally have a name for them. I also suffer from severe sinus problems and have a sinus infection every 2 to 3 mos. I am seeing an E.N.& T. specialist and a Neuro at the same time. I am having sinus surgery on the 28th of this month in order to try to releave my sinus problems. I can deal with one type of headache but not both at the same time anymore. I am having success with Verapamil, Imitrex, and oxygen, so far. I also suffer from IBS and it seems like when something helps one thing than it aggravates the other. I have read every message on this board and greatly thank you all for the invaluable info. It's great, to know that I'm not alone, althought I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I wonder if there is anyone out there that knows if these things ever end on a permanent basis and I want to know what an "Aura" is, I think I'm experiencing them, (I know I'm experiencing shadows). Sorry so long, but it's great to be able to communicate with others who suffer from the same thing.
