In answer to your question "what is an Aura?", I experience them. For me, it is almost like you have stared into a lightbulb for a few minutes. When you close your eyes, you see a ghost light. Well, with an aura you see basically the same but with your eyes open. It can be very disconcerting to the point that sometimes you can't see at all. It can also be accopanied by an almost tingling sensation. I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
